Note about Note about Recap for 12.19 No Place to Hide

Okay, so I really did think I would have the recap up before the next episode ... but seeing as that's in less than 3 hours, it seems highly unlikely ... especially since I've been residing in Procrastination Nation this week, and have been battling an overwhelming desire to move there permanently ... I apologize to anyone who has actually been checking for the recap - and I know there are at least two of you, judging by the repeated emails begging me to update this blog ... I honestly am working on it, it's just that my motivation, desire and ability to write are directly related to the amount of time that elapses between the original air date and when I start the recap ... think I can say with a fair amount of certainty, that it will be posted by the weekend. Now tonight's episode is another story ...

What if we send you some liquor? Would that help? I'm dying here!

No worries. I enjoy reading your recaps whenever you get around to posting them.

Why don't you then skip the last episode (for now) and recap today's one. I understand it is easier to recap something that is recent than from last week. I just don't want you to think of this as some unpleasant task and stop it all together. Please don't do that.

Except that tonight's episode has ZERO Luka. That can't be inspiring in the least, now can it? I'd rather she skip this week's than last.

Just saw this week's epi...Mekhi is amazing...Carter...pfffft. He has a scene where he tries to empathize with a mother facing the loss of her child. SUCH bad acting...it hurt to watch it. No mention of Chicago at all. The promos weren't even Luby. I'd skip recapping this except that I know you would have some snarky stuff to say about Carter and the way the whole Darfur situation was handled by NBC. Sooo.....here I sit...patiently waiting... probably. : ) Larue

No! Don't skip it! I'm overseas and can't see the new episodes...and you're the only recapper I found that actually recaps the show along with being very funny and snarky. Everyone else is just snarky, which does me no good because I don't know what they're being snarky about. So. Do it for me. :-)

Skip this weeks. No Luka= bad, horrible episode that should never air again. Just think of him and there's your motivation! :)

True, there was no Luka. But there was Eamonn Walker, and he's a pretty good consolation prize in my book!!

Althoug I too enjoy your recaps, I don't see any harm in skipping this episode since I wish I had done so myself. But, if you do get around to rehashing it, here are a few questions I hope you can answer. Is Jodie still alive? If so, where? Is her husband still at large? If so, why? And why does John Leguizamo use the same hyper mannerisms and vocal patterns to play a doctor, a street punk, an aspiring musician, a wannabe boxer, an animated critter, and the voice that sometimes warns me not to leave my stuff in a NYC cab? And why didn't the wonderful Diane Ladd get enough screen time to have a shot at an Emmy nomination? And why did I have to waste a second on Steve's appendix or Albright kissing Morris when I could have been with Dakarai? And speaking of Africa, why wouldn't those ultra-conservative Muslims who stoned the pothead also stone a blond who was showing off a major part of her breasts in a skin-tight, low-cut tank top? I guess we do need you to explain all of this after all, Cranky.
