Note About Recap for 12.22 21 Guns ... and Some Girl(s)
Decided to do a pre-emptive strike this week and post a note saying that the blog probably will not be updated by tomorrow night … seeing as the recap is only somewhat … oh, alright … less than somewhat … partially … maybe that’s a better word … partially written … Well, that’s not exactly true either … Let’s say, there are some ideas down on paper … well, actually on the computer … or still in my head … So, there is a chance it may be up before the rerun of The Human Shield airs, or it may not be. If it’s not, it won’t be posted before Monday – seeing as I will be away again this weekend, and though I will have my laptop, there’s no Internet access. I know! Tell me about it … I can’t believe it either … Didn’t think there were any places left like that … and, no, I am not going to
And for all who emailed me asking about some play about Some Girl(s) that I saw this past weekend, I could relate the story of how I was a just teensy bit late, miniscule amount of time really, to meet my friends and apparently had “just missed” by nanoseconds the adorable Eric McCormack and some girl from some TV medical drama out in front of the theatre, who were apparently very nice and said “hi” to everyone and pictures and yada yada yada before going in the stage door; or I could tell you all how my supposed “best friends”, who don’t even watch said TV medical drama nor read recaps involving said medical drama, nor carry camera phones to document seeing star of said medical drama yet felt compelled to constantly remind me that I had missed seeing said star of said medical drama; or I could even tell you about how I am now in the market for new best friends … But, let me just say this: If you can … Go … Seriously … You absolutely will not be disappointed. Funny, surprising, and extremely poignant at times. Innovative set. Well written … well cast … well acted. Bravo.
